Join us for an unforgettable journey through the magic of the silver screen in this new program series starting Friday, March 15 at 6:30pm.
After each movie, we’ll watch a video clip or two about the making of the film and have a short discussion.
Winter Wonderland Adventure: Calling all young winter explorers! Have you ever wondered how plants and animals survive in a snow-covered landscape and freezing temperatures? Join a ranger from Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument to find out how. We’ll take a journey through a winter wonderland and discover the secrets of winter survival for plants and animals.
If there is enough snow, snowshoes will be provided by the KGL.
This program is for kids in 1st to 4th grade and registration is requested.

Katahdin Gear Library has closed its doors for the winter season. Dry trails and high waters are seemingly right around the corner, we’ll be on our bikes and in the water soon enough.
