• National Poetry Month

    Poetry Out Loud will be held on Wednesday, April 25th at the Millinocket Memorial Library beginning at 7:00 pm. Budding poets, and lovers of poetry as literature can come together to read either original works or the works of a favorite author.

    Cuba – A nation frozen in time. Just 90 miles south of the United States, it is worlds away culturally, economically and politically. In 2012, photographers Deb and Doug Schmidt traveled there with National Geographic, visiting UNESCO World Heritage and other locations including Hemingway’s Home.

    Millinocket Memorial Library is currently offering three varieties of unique and local Special Edition Souvenir Library Cards. The credit card size cards and key tags contain three (3) different images to choose from, generously donated by Anita Mueller and Mark Picard Wildlife Photography, Moose Prints Gallery & Prints in Millinocket. Reminder – library cards are free to anyone that lives or owns property in Maine!
