Getting Back on Your Bike
Getting Back on Your Bike at the Katahdin Gear Hub! An introduction to bicycles for adults who have ridden in the past but would like to get reacquainted with riding. We have a fleet of bikes and will be spending approximately 45 minutes going over bicycle safety in a classroom setting. The remaining time will be out on a bicycle practicing what we have learned. Previous bicycle riding experience is required. We will have flexibility built into the curriculum based on the experience of attendees, but this should not be your first time riding a bike. This class will not cover technical mountain bike riding. We will be practicing on grass and may graduate to a ride around town for those who would like to.
