Summary: “Hiccup is a Norse teenager from the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. His progressive views and weird sense of humor make him a misfit, despite the fact that his father is chief of the clan. Tossed into dragon-fighting school, he endeavors to prove himself as a true Viking, but when he befriends an injured dragon he names Toothless, he has the chance to plot a new course for his people’s future.” Rated PG.

Partners for Peace will be at the library on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month. Hours will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.

IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE AND AN ADVOCATE IS NOT THERE:

The 24/7 hotline at 1-800-863-9909 is always available to speak with an advocate in the interim.

Merrily Fales – Call 745-2183 (work cell) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (can leave a message… call back times vary). If you would like to speak to the rural advocate personally instead of the hotline call the office number at 564-8166 (hours in the office will vary).

In case of weather-related cancellations, other arrangements can be made to meet. Partners for Peace offices close when the schools in the area close (i.e., when Bangor schools close… Bangor office closes). In case of this, it will be on the TV with other cancellations, and advocates do not travel.
