MML COVID-19 Phased Guidelines

August 13, 2021

To the library community,

Local COVID-19 cases continue to be on the rise. Therefore, we’ve established a set of phased guidelines that can be used to adjust our policies as case numbers fluctuate. These guidelines are based on local case data from Millinocket Regional Hospital, Katahdin Valley Health Center, Penobscot Valley Hospital, and Health Access Network.

We are currently in the “yellow” zone, meaning that:

  1. Masks are required, except for small “pods” using closed meeting rooms,
  2. Indoor program/meetings of under 10 are allowed in the Community Room (with masks), and
  3. Physical distancing is encouraged

We apologize for the inconvenience, but feel that the priority must always be to ensure the safety of our patrons and staff as the situation evolves.

Browsing, interlibrary loans, public computers, Wifi, and printing, scanning, and faxing services continue to be available.

Don’t hesitate to follow up with any questions or concerns.

Best,

Diana Furukawa
