Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Reciprocal Borrowing Program is currently not active. You can still easily request books and DVDs from almost any library in Maine. Learn how here, or call us at 207-723-7020, and we can do it for you.

In November 2019, MML joined the Maine Reciprocal Borrowing Program. This service gives you the ability to walk into any of the participating libraries, select an item off the shelf, and take an item home the same day using your MML library card. It’s essentially like doing an inter-library loan in real time!

You must have your physical card with you to check out materials at other libraries. Library materials can be returned to either the library from which it was borrowed OR here in Millinocket.
